Craft Beer Professionals Spring Virtual Conference - Breweries & Cities: Building Effective Relationships
This panel highlights chapters from a recently published volume, Craft Breweries & Cities: Perspectives from the Field. Panelists discuss how craft breweries are meaningful contributors and participants in addressing demographic and geographic trends; community, economic and workforce development; gentrification; land use, zoning, and other regulations; racial equity and sustainability; and crime. Common themes also include the importance of "place" and beer tourism.
California Issues Forum - Housing & Homelessness
The California Issues Forum assembled scholars and community-based advocates across California who are working on social and economic policy issues, to discuss opportunities to better align in their efforts to promote improved opportunities and outcomes for California workers, families and communities in need. Sadly, the recording had issues, but the remaining video contains concluding thoughts from panelists on challenges to collaboration and cooperation between academics and practitioners, as well as some comments and questions from audience members.
